Location
The
development is located mainly on on Chang Noi Beach, a 1.5km long expanse of
sand in a sheltered bay at the north western tip of Koh Chang.
Plots on this beach will have sunset views.
However, there are also plots available in the main development on Half moon
beach, a small beach facing the mainland - just south of the development's
private pier.
Public ferries run from the mainland to Koh
Chang and arrive at piers located in the north east of the island- around 10
minutes drive from Chang Noi beach.
Siam Royal View will provide a private boat
service from a pier on the mainland - not far from Trat Airport, direct to
the pier at Half Moon Beach.
Bangkok Airways
provides 2 or 3 daily flights each way on the Bangkok - Trat route, a
Samui-Trat link is also under consideration at present.
By road it is a 4 hour drive from Bangkok to
Koh Chang along highways that are rarely busy. A Private transfer by
minivan from Bangkok to Koh Chang costs around 4,800 baht. By bus, 250
baht will get you a ticket on a modern, airconditioned bus from Bangkok
direct to the ferry pier.
Driving on Koh Chang doesn't present any real
problems, other than a couple of the hills are quite steep and the roads
narrow in many places so care is required especially when driving at night.
